Director Bio’s
Timothy B. Hardin, President
Tim Hardin, P.E. serves as President of Remington MUD No. 1 and has been a director in the District since 2018. Tim and his wife Stephanie have been residents of Stonegate and Remington MUD No. 1 since 2013. Mr. Hardin has established a successful career in the municipal water and wastewater industry as an engineering consultant, and is the President of Langford Engineering, Inc.
Larry Connelly, Vice President
Dr. Larry Connelly holds BS, MS, and PhD degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas. He is a retired U.S. Army Reserve officer and disabled veteran.
Dr. Connelly’s career spans industry, entrepreneurship, and public service. He previously worked with U.S. Steel Research and Exxon Production Research before founding Connelly Technical Services, an engineering consulting firm that delivered projects for major organizations including Exxon, Shell, BP, and Lockheed Martin. As President, he led technical strategy, operations, and client engagement.
He currently serves a four-year term as Director of the Remington 1 Municipal Utility District Board, where he contributes to infrastructure oversight, fiscal governance, and long-term planning.
Following his retirement from engineering, Dr. Connelly transitioned a lifelong commitment to aviation into a second career as a certified flight instructor with The Flight School of Texas and Texas Southern University’s Flight Sciences Department. He also serves as a substitute teacher in the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District, reflecting his ongoing commitment to education and community engagement.
Michael Cook, Secretary
Retired in 2021 after a 40-yr career with ExxonMobil, advancing pipeline technology and managing engineering associated with U.S. and global pipeline projects. In addition to being a MUD director, Mike is an avid bowler, an active member of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, and spends as much time as possible with his children and grandchildren.
Aaron Rud, Assistant Secretary
A seasoned professional with extensive expertise in sales management and strategic development across various industries. Currently serving as an Area Sales Manager at Carrier HVAC, Aaron leads territory account management and consumer product strategies remotely, contributing significantly to growth and innovation in this role.
With a robust track record in boosting sales, customer service and managing large-scale accounts, Aaron Rud is dedicated to fostering innovative solutions and driving business success across diverse sectors.
Aaron and his family have lived in Remington MUD 1 for 20 years. “We love living in this neighborhood and plan to be here for a long time!”
Richard Cannon, Assistant Secretary
Since 2008, I have specialized in residential and commercial real estate, backed by more than three decades in the construction industry. My extensive experience gives my clients a distinct advantage when evaluating properties, negotiating deals and identifying long-term value. I have served on the mud board for more than five years and look forward to serving my next term.
