Important Message from the Board of Directors of Remington MUD No. 1

In light of more people staying home because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and with local schools letting out for summer break, there has been an increase in people walking and bicycling through our community. The Board wants to draw everyone’s attention to the map below. Please stay off the sites colored in red and use the other sites only in accordance with the map’s legend. Board members and District consultants have seen people accessing the red sites with motorized vehicles (such as ATVs, motorcycles, four wheelers, and three wheelers). These activities are dangerous to the riders and the structural integrity of these drainage facilities. Repairing damage to these facilities from such activities costs you, the residents. Additionally, such activities are illegal. Trespassing on and/or damaging District property is punishable by civil and criminal penalties. If you see people trespassing on the red sites or misusing or damaging any of the sites on the map below, please call the Harris County Sherriff’s Office at 713-221-6000.

Memorial Day Trash Collection

In observance of Memorial Day, there will be no service on Monday, May 25th. Trash collection will resume on the next scheduled service day.
